14 April 2014 – International Game Technology (IGT) online casino software provider has announced the launch of the first ever multi-state progressive jackpot network in the US. The software provider already links a number of slot machines across Nevada, but the PowerBuck$™ wide area progressive jackpot network links slot machines in casinos run by Caesars Entertainment and Boyd Gaming in the US states of New Jersey and Nevada. Caesars Entertainment runs 13 casinos in Nevada and 4 in Atlantic City, while Boyd Gaming runs 9 casinos in Las Vegas and owns 50% of the Borgata Casino.
