7 April 2014 – In a report made by Distimo, it is revealed that social casino games are among the top grossing apps and they are very popular among mobile gaming. The publication TechCrunch said that Distimo collected data from Distimo AppIQ to find out about the revenue generated in Google Play and the iOS App Store. The research reveals that the makers of the social casino games are among the top 100 grossing apps. Moreover, Big Fish Games has made 84% of its total revenue share on the iOS App Store, while Williams Interactive and Buffalo Studios are tied at 43% of the total revenue on Google Play.
