22 May 2014 – The American Gaming Association has announced that it has pulled its support for online gambling in the United States. Group CEO Geoff Freeman made the announcement saying that online gambling is something the Association cannot lead on because of different opinions on the issue from major casinos. Caesars and MGM are two major casinos that support the legalization of online gambling and they offer online betting services in Nevada and New Jersey. On the other hand, Las Vegas Sands CEO Sheldon Adelson wants to see online gambling banned nationwide.
