23 June- 2014 – According to reports, the US state of New Jersey is expected to reach a total of $4.4 billion in gambling revenue by 2018. It is predicted that the Garden State will generate $370 million in online revenues within the next three years with the amount players’ spend gambling on the internet doubling. Land based casinos are expected to generate $216 million by 2018 which is less than the gambling revenue from last year. The biggest challengers for the gambling market in New Jersey include the competition from other US states, namely Delaware and Pennsylvania, as well as the threat from the unlicensed offshore casino websites.
