It appears that Sheriff Gaming, the now defunct online casino software provider, could program its slots so that they pay large amounts of money to the family and friends of the site owner, a programmer testified at the Netherlands court. The court case is against the owners of Bubble Group, namely Stijn Flapper and brothers Michel and Maurice Gregoire, which is a parent company of Sheriff Gaming. According to the programmer, 95 percent of the slots from this provider are rigged in a way that they would only pay to friends and family. However, if a player changes his wager from $2 to $1, this would override the system and the player will get a payout.
