A spokesman for the Guinness World Records officially confirmed that Microgaming holds the Guinness World Records title for the largest jackpot payout in an online slot. In October 2015 the lucky slot player Jonathan Heywood from the United Kingdom hit the progressive jackpot of Mega Moolah from Microgaming winning a total of £13,213,838 (€17,879,645.12) with a 25p bet. The win has gone through a long review process until it was officially confirmed. With it, the provider made it in the Guinness World Records book. Roger Raatgever, the CEO of Microgaming, is looking forward to hang the certificate in their office.
