The social casinos ‘Hot Shot Casino’ from Scientific Games and ‘Vegas Downtown Slots’ from Playtika made Facebook online games of the year 2015. Both gambling-themed game titles offer free play versions of real money slots. Barry Cottle, the chief executive director at Scientific Games, was very happy about the announcement and commented that the company will continue creating the most entertaining games in the industry both online and on mobile. Playtika, owned by Caesars Interactive Entertainment, runs Vegas Downtown Slots which is an online version of classic Vegas Style reel slots. Other games on the Facebook top 15 online games list are Family Guy: The Quest for Stuff by TinyCo and Nords: Heroes of the North by Plarium among others.
